Implementation of new Radiology PACS: Imaging
This is to notify the public and our patients that PCMHD will be transitioning to a new picture archiving and communication system (PACS) in the radiology department.
With this transition, only the exam image records required by state law will be transferred and stored in the new PACS. We ask the public: if they require or wish to have a copy of older exam images or any exams, they submit a record request through Health Information Management and a CD copy of the exams will be prepared in a timely fashion. All exam reports will continue to remain within their medical records at PCMHD.
Requests for imaging copies can begin now through June 30th, 2025.
This change is made to better serve our community, by making improvements to our current method of image sharing with patients and their care team. Making the process easier, more time efficient, and technologically friendlier.
