Hospital Price Transparency
Pecos County Memorial Hospital has a new Price Comparison Tool which allows patients to estimate the cost of services they need. Insured patients will receive estimates based on our agreement with your insurance company. Uninsured patients will receive estimates reflecting an available discount for private pay patients.
A few things to keep in mind:
●This is an estimate. The final bill may be different, especially in cases of surgical procedures and hospital admissions, when treatment is unique to your needs.
●The estimate will not reflect co-pay or deductible amounts due from insured patients.
●You may receive bills from other providers and their charges are not reflected here. This will typically happen with radiology and emergency room visits.
●Pecos County Memorial Hospital will send a statement which contains a summary of charges for the inpatient or outpatient care you received. A complete itemized bill is available upon request from our business office.
If you are not covered by an individual health plan, we strongly encourage you to contact our Financial Services department at 432-336-4240. We have multiple programs for qualifying patients which may cover a portion or all of your cost. We stive to ensure the cost of our services do not deter a patients from getting the healthcare they need.
