Purpose and Philosophy:

The primary purpose of radiologic services at Pecos County Memorial Hospital District is to provide the best possible service and care to the patients of our community and surrounding areas. We strive to provide a high level of care through high quality diagnostic imaging, innovative and state-of-the-art equipment, progressive attitudes, and unparallel services. As we provide this level of care, we keep the patient's welfare and safety foremost throughout all modalities and use of radiant energy for acquiring images.

Understanding that radiologic services are integral to the assessment and diagnoses of patients, we strive to provide the upmost quality of imaging and patient care. We provide this through highly trained and certified, competent, and motivated personnel that will provide a high standard of care.

Our department observes and adheres to guidelines on radiation safety and protection, keeping our patient's well-being and the principles of A.L.A.R.A. in mind when providing high quality diagnostic imaging.
