Employee Highlight

Name: Michael Garcia
Title: Respiratory Therapist
Length of time employed with PCMH: 6 years
What do you like about working here at PCMH: BY far bedside patient care. I have bypassed leadership roles at my past employments because it would take me away from my passion/calling (Pt. Care). I also enjoy working with and besides my fellow professional employees. We have excellent leadership here that listens to us and cares for us. I'm not going anywhere.
What do you like to do outside of work: I love getting away to our mountain home (Rancho Espiritú Santo) in The Davis Mountains on our time off.
Tell us about your family:Patricia and I have been married 34yrs. We have 5 children, 1 son and 4 daughters. We also have 17 grandchildren. I'm happiest when I have any combination or all of them around us.
What is your favorite color: Any shade of blue
What is your favorite food: Mexican Food   Mexican Food  Mexican food
If you won the lottery what would you buy: My bride and I have a long-standing agreement that if we were to win big we would renovate or build a Catholic Church as priority thanksgiving. Then take care of our much who is given much is expected
It's gives me extreme pleasure to have Mike represent the respiratory department in this weeks employee spotlight of the week. Mike is a hard worker and always willing to go above and beyond to not only help in respiratory but in any department that asks. Mike is courteous not only to his patients but to all his fellow coworkers.  He shows up everyday with an infectious position attitude that follows him throughout the hospital. Mike is a great asset to have in our hospital and we are lucky to have him in our PCMH family.
